Collect Labels, etc.

 

Hindman Settlement School participates in several collection programs that provide supplemental support for our educational work. We appreciate the many volunteers who send in labels, etc. so we can purchase needed items. Below is a list of what we collect and web links to more detailed information about each program. We collect labels year-round.

 

Campbell’s Labels for Education (Clip UPC code; We earn points for catalog purchases)

 

Tyson Project A+ Labels (We receive $0.24 per label, for up to 50,000 labels a year)

General Mills Box Tops for Education (We receive $0.10 for each Box Top)

Food City School Bucks Program. (Each time you purchase $10 worth of Food City Exclusive Brands with your ValuCard, 1 point will automatically go to the school of your choice. Hindman Settlement School's ID# is 41232. Schools compete with points for a share of the $600,000 awarded annually. The more school supporters registering their ValuCard and the more they shop at Food City, the greater opportunity for School Bucks points. This year’s program is 32 weeks long. Planet Green We also collect and receive cash for used ink jet cartridges. Please do not send the larger laser toner cartridges. You can take laser cartridges to Office Depot or Staples and receive a coupon. We are too far away from these stores to make this worth our while.

 

Phoneraiser We accept used cellphones, too. Values vary depending on the type of phone.
